Maintaining Your CPAP Equipment
Taking control of your sleep apnea is a major step in your path toward a better night’s rest. But while getting your equipment is an important part, it’s just as important to maintain your equipment so that it functions at its best and lasts for the long haul.
With that in mind, we’ve put together this short guide to help you get the most out of your CPAP therapy products. You can also speak with one of our in-store Sleep Specialists for more information.
CPAP Maintenance
Some basic maintenance is required to keep your CPAP equipment in good working order. We’d recommend following this schedule for best results.

- Wipe the cushion of the mask with a CPAP wipe or a damp cloth.
Weekly
- Wash your entire mask, tube and humidification chamber with mild soap and warm water. Rinse well and let air dry.
- Rinse your filter (for cleanable filters only).
Monthly
- Look at your filter and assess if it needs to be replaced or cleaned.
